okay i got a weird idle for about 15 mins then it goes away, it goes form 1000-2300rpm and gradually goes down till its down at steady 900 rpm. i checked the iac vavle/sensor still good, all wiring from the cps is still good, not sure but theres no vaccum line on the distubtor but is plugged not sure if vaccum advance is used on this car and the top end of car had a mini me swap to make vtec from an si motor same generation. wondering if neone else could help me?

 

You might want to check the Fast Idle Valve:

 

I know you said you checked the IAC, but what'd you check? The wiring, tightness of hoses and making sure there's not leaks?.... Try unbolting in from the intake mani, and cleaning the small metal mesh screen with a few q-tips and rubbing alcohol. Make sure it's nice and clean, and dry before you bolt it back up.

Also, is the surging happening often?... Check your timing, and the belt as well. Maybe it'd help if you cleaned out the throttle body.....

i checked the wriing and made sure it worked elctronicly but i didnt clean the mesh i will now tho and update
