Default obd1 iacv on obd2 harness

so my car's been swapped for a while, but the injectors make a clicking sound. i've been reading up on it and i heard that having the iacv unplugged will do that. i was wondering how i can wire up the 3wire iacv harness to the 2wire plug on my engine. i have extra plugs that will fit on there from a spare harness, i guess i'll just need the wiring diagram or colors. thanks a lot

well i looked in my manual and have found the wire color and polarity. if i leave the signal wire unhooked, will everything still be ok?
