Default GSR vs Type R

here is the build i have an B18B block and pistons, i need to know which would be a better head to use , a B16 type R head or a GSR head?

we'll what is your bugdet? i would suggest building it na/boost before putting it in your car. my $.02 is that you buy a gsr head and do alot of port work to get it to flow alot better than stock. and saves you a little bit instead of going type- r

well i already have The Type R head on my B16 but now I'm swapping to the B18 and some wants to trade me heads, and i want to know which would be a head to use

ok..... sale your blocks and buy a b20 block. if you build it right you can hit 200 whp na.

FYI Type R heads and B16 heads are both cast from the same mold. They are both stamped pr3. The only difference between the two is the valve train and cams.

Along with the mild port that the ITR head has as well. That the b16 head does not have.

You already have a type r head? Then why are you asking this question for? You basically have the best vtec head already....
