Default 97 hatch with rear disks = no ebrake

I have a 97 hatch that I have 96 JDM ITR brakes. They're the same as regular old Integra brakes, but on a 4x114.3 hub.

Up until this point, I've had a good handbrake. It's adjusted all the way down on the nut under the center console, but it worked.

The rear passenger side caliper seized, so it had to be replaced. As soon as I replaced the caliper, the handbrake on that side no longer pulls the caliper shut. Is there any way to adjust the handbrake on that side or something I'm missing? This can't be common.

Just to clarify, pulling the handbrake does lock the rear drivers side wheel. However, the passenger side wheel spins freely.

did you release some of the tension on the hand brake before replacing the caliper? i would try re-adjusting, if that doesn't work it might be time to replace it.
