well, the big hose is your heater core hose.. the plug is either a fan switch or coolant temp switch(i forget which one is which)

your oil leak is most likely the distributor o-ring, as the two things in your circle only deal with coolant..

oh i see, thanks for the info on that hose, would you happen to know the cause for the distributor o-ring to leak? and is it a common problem? and how can i go about taking care of the leak? thanks..

yeah, it is a very common seal to leak on H motors.. to replace, just remove the three bolts securing the distributor (the WHOLE distributor, not just the cap), pull the distributor out, and you will see the o-ring that goes around the shaft. pull it off and put a new one on

make sure you put it on at its previous position..dont retard or advance it as this could change a couple things..ALSO, id check the VTEC solenoid gasket..

the solenoid is directly above the red circle on your first picture. There are two plugs going to it, one has a green/yellow wire, the other has baby blue and black wires.

hey guy's, sorry to bring up this thread again,y'know i did'nt really put much detail about my car well it has 92,000 miles on it and the problem could be the o-ring from the distributor or the v-tec solenoid gasket,so i was curious and took it to a mechanic and he told me that the distributor had to be replace because of the leak and he says its a common problem that honda's distributors go bad over time with the amount of miles that my car has. my thoughts were maybe he's honest but then maybe he isn't, so i went to napa and explained the problem and they told me honda motors normally break in around 75,000 miles and my dizzy should fine.they also ask if its functioning normal like no sputters or trouble starting and i replied no not at all it runs fine, so my question is what are the common problems with the distributor {besides the o-ring} that can cause it to leak oil? and what can cause the v-tec solenoid gasket to wear out? oh also forgot to mention since i was at napa they didn't carry any o-rings for my dizzy they said the dealer has them thanks
