Many people on this site use that alarm including myself. It's a great unit!

Which Alarm Should I Buy?

Which sensor do you want to adjust the sensitivity on? Did you have any other sensors added aside from the factory included shock sensor?

i didnt get any extra sensors added. I want to adjust the shock sensors that came with the clifford to make it more sensitive. I've been shaking my car, and the alarm doesnt go off.

There is a screw/**** on the shock sensor that you have to turn to adjust sensitivity.

There is only one, sounds like you found it. I believe turning it clockwise will increases the sensitivity. Should be pretty easy to test.

Where is the sensor mounted? That sounds like the problem.

How is it mounted (IE:screws, zipties, tape) and to what exactly (IE: steering rack, firewall, metal support bracket)?

I have no clue what you mean. You will have to take pictures if you cannot describe it accurately enough. Sorry

On the drivers side, where your gas pedal and brake is, if you look up on the left side, thats where my "brain" and shock sensor is located. It's like right in front of the firewall.

Two things, you have turned the sensitivity up way too high, it is an impact sensor, not a motion sensor, shacking/rocking the car should not trigger the alarm, [full alarm or warn a way].

Turn the sensor down to where it was, then adjust it up a little bit, arm the alarm and supply shock to the car, hit the "A" or "B" pillars.
The sensitivity is correct when you can kick the tire hard and nothing more then the warn a way mode is triggered but if you crack a lug nut free it will trigger full alarming mode. 94

what does hit the "a" or "b" pillars mean? And also, i originally had the honda remote door unlock, i was messing with it at first and didnt think it will still unlock/lock my doors, but it still does. Is it bad to use my clifford and sometimes my honda remote

I wouldn't expect so much from a shock sensor. If it doesn't go off when a motorcycle drives by, it's doing it's job as intended. They're great if someone is stealing your car with a bulldozer. I remove them on my cars and use more effective sensors in their place.

You really need to check out the stickys bro, and try using the search feature. This has all been covered before.

[HOW-TO:] Car Security

DEI proximity sensors are not that great, we recommend the Crimstopper AU94TM.
