installing exedy stage 1 clutch
i was wonderin if u would need to take out the wheel to install the clutch.i lost the dam key to my wheel lock.. is there anywy i can still install it?
LOL...Yes sir you have to take off the wheel...Hell you gotta pull the axle out too...Don't forget you have to drop that transmission as well...Don't forget the half shaft...The starter gotta come out too...Its not the hardest thing to do but having a cherry picker is BIG TIME HELP...Good luck buddy...

The socket will get damaged b4 the wheel locks. I've done this quite a few times where customer lost the wheel lock key. You're right also, he can go to a wheel dealer and puchase a key that will match his wheel locks. But in desperate need, (not saying that he is) it's just another way of taking them off. No need to be an a$$ buddy...
doing an exedy stage one in my own GSR, local shops around here are doing it for 200-250, for that price i was game to let them do it. we'll see how it drives tomorrow. as for the wheel lock deal you might call around and see if a place like discount tire has one they will sell you or let you borrow. i mean it might not be a bad idea to just buy a new key

mine grabs hard as well. i babied it for the first 200 miles just to let it set. thing hits hard now if you release quickly or soft if you slip it, it's also as easy to drive as stock. slightly more pedal pressure but it's not too much. the clucth that came out had torn rivits and this slice of metal from the hub area was laying there. cheap, no name auto parts store clutch.
