Springs and retainers only or valves too?? I'm thinking might as well replace the valves when you are in there right??? I'm assuming an upgrade would help too...Sk2

If you're running a stock ECU or at least not modifying your redline, your stock valvetrain should hold up fine.

The valvetrain is fine as long as you keep the stock GSR redline, But you should really get a tune. I used only a CTR intake cam and blox intake mani and I/H/E and before my tune I was running extremly LEAN. Instead of running around 14.7:1 it was around 16:1. We also set WOT at around 13.1:1 the car and VTEC was much smoother afterwords and had a stronger mid range.

ok i will share my setup with you guys. 95 gsr with ctr intake cam, skunk2 manifold, ebay 4-21 header sucks, bosal brospeed exhaust. i got it tuned and made 179.6 hp. went to the track and ran a 14.5 flat. could go faster if i had a nice header.
