dispute over cams in a gsr
friend says change out valves, valve guides, retainers everything, for a set of ctr cams in a usdm gsr, i was told by another friend to just change valves,

it is recomended that you change your valve train to prevent valve float.. but actualy you can just drop them in!

You`re always safer to just do the job in it`s entirity, meaning upgrading the whole valvetrain.
I think the most important part would be the springs/retainers, that`s where you`d have problems. However, I have heard of lots of people just throwing in the cams and going for it, but I would`nt do it....
