Tach Jumping???
I have a gsr and the cluster jumps alot, i noticed when its cold and im cruising it will just jump by itself, like crazy, i already changed dizzy cap rotor and took wires off the clip and put them direct, it helped for about a week or two and it started jumping again, i hate it cuz i use my mph to shift lol sometimes it will go smoothly and just jump a lil bit but other times its crazy... anyone know wut will cause this ??? or experienced this before ??
This happened to my gsr too. I tightened the wires going into the ignition control module with a pair of pliers and that fixed it. If you have not already checked the ignition control module, it might be a good idea.
i have seen this problem 4 times before on friends cars. 2 of them had the dizzy go out shortly after it occurred, while the other two just lost some performance. most likely your problem is in the dizzy, but it could also be a short somewhere in your wirng. good luck on solving your problem.

same thing happend to me right after doing my swap and tried most of the things that people have said already and nothing worked so i took it to a friend and he suggested the same thing so i tighted the ignition control modual wires and it fixed it too.

Yes, it is in the distributor. If tightening the wires does not work, you might need to replace the ignition control module. From what I have heard, this is the most common reason for the tach to be jumping. You might also want to check all of your grounds.
