I was wondering, I know with the p72 ecu u have to wire the iab, and knock sensor up. But if u chip ur p28 will u have to do them things?

No. The P28 has no input/outputs for the IAB or knock. So you can leave those out.

The ECU throws codes. Not the engine.

u should change the stock gsr IM if ur gonna use a p28

Or just undo the vacuum line for the butterflies so they're always open.

From what i got so far i got the a20 pin switch to the a17 pin on my ecu thats done, then i cut my knock sensor off the gsr harness and add to it my z6 harness on plug d for the shock tower, then i add a wire from plug d through the firewall to d3 on the ecu plug .. Is that all ?

Yeah. That sounds like all the wiring mods. However, why did you have to switch the A20 pin to the A17 pin? Your car allready came wired with VTEC and with a 2 wire IAC.

I believe the A20 to A17 pin switch is for 96-00 non ex/si models that have the 3 wire IAC, IIRC.

What does the A20 correspond to? You dont have an IAB function on the P28, though. You might as well have just left that alone....
