dx sway bar mounting question
i have a 1997 civic dx... and want to install ls integra sway bars... i am also doing a full brake conversion.
for the back: i already have megan lca's, but im not sure that these will work with this bar without new endlinks, and already have the integra lcas. So question one is which set of lca's wouls be better. second, how do i mount the bushings on the subframe... the integra had holes, but i dont think my civic does... so that is the easiest way to do that
for the front: i already have the integra lcas, so the only question is about mounting the bushings...
i am guessing that everything i have said above is correct and will work based on searching i have already done, but please correct me if im wrong about somthing.
thanks

Re: dx sway bar mounting question (Nfire247)
Too my knowledge the Integra system only works with the 92-95's. The 96-00's have different geometry in the suspension that means the lca's are not interchangeable. For my 94 all I had to do was get GSR lca's and bar and it bolted right up. For my 99 the only factory bolt up was to get the bar from a 99/00 Si. There was a misleading thread saying a 92-95 4 dr bar would work. Not true - it won't bolt up to the Si endlinks that are necessary to bolt up to the stock lca's. The bar bolts up to the Civic frame with the standard Si brackets available at your Honda dealer. If you bolt up to the frame using the Si brackets you cannot use a bar thicker than the 13 mm Si bar. To go thicker requires aftermarket bracing.
