someone else can def chime in, but i dont think that you'll have any trouble with the 550's as long as the car is well tuned. if you were trying to run 1000cc's on a stock motor there might be some issues, but with the 550's you should be fine.

Although 440cc would probably be a better match, you should still be fine with 550's.

RC's calculator for a 250 crank hp 4 cyl shows 413cc being optimal.

550's will be fine. at least then that leaves the option open for E85

I was using the RC 750's and idling at 850rpm, no iacv and pro2 cams.

and yes there is such a thing as too big of an injector. if the amount of fuel injected in the time it takes for the injector to open and immediately close is too great idle quality will suffer. in other words on an injector that is too big you can't crack it open and shut it fast enough without having waay too much fuel injected.

Internally, nothing wild (yet). I have a Skunk2 intake manifold, golden eagle fuel rail, FPR, Skunk2 cam gears, pulleys. Looking to buy a s2000 TB or 68mm++ (IF ANYONE IS SELLING ONE PM ME )(Hopefully) a supertech valve springs, retainers, etc..

Like i said nothing bizzar though, just your typical bolt ons.

Lets see stock flow is 245cc and you are putting some bolt on's on and want to more than double your fuel flow. That might be a little over kill for what you plan on doing to the motor.

IF you plan on getting things that are more bizzar than I wouldn't worry about it. I'm running 440cc very well, so 550cc might be a little much. If it really is a great deal get them and get a good tune. Good Luck!
