stupid air filter question

Default stupid air filter question

will an integra start without a air filter on, has an intake tube but no filter
i think it should but my dad keep arguing with me so we need an answer

It will start, but Id definitely not recommend it. If something goes up that pipe youre expletiveed. But yes it will start.

thats what i wanted to hear, my car hasnt run all year so we are trying to get it to start but i will have a airfilter in it when i drive it

Haha yes it will start and drive but if you start sucking things up say byee bye to your motor

yeah... you'll be fine.. my buddy has a net over his .. like net you would use for a screen enclosure haha. but yeah.. dont drive far without one.. dont wanna have anything go up there

again you are an idiot....you really think it's safe to run with a "net" over the intake? tell your boyfriend it's bad enough that he wears pantyhoes, let alone uses them on his car

but dad told me ppl run with porch screens over their turbo inlet!?! haha of course it will start without an intake.. go drive through a foot deep puddle of water like that and see if it still works

I ran my turbo for a while without anything over the inlet. Now it has a piece of metal screening...

In short, yes you can run it, but i wouldn't recommend it
