Default The code 43 paradox

Not really much of a paradox, but I have read that alcohol does not damage 02 sensors and I was steam cleaning my motor with some alcohol by misting it into the throttlebody, and although it runs better at wot, I have the code 43 with some closed loop bucking.

I did some online searching for a solution, and I see that the 02 is the usual suspect. I havent changed it yet, because I replaced the fuel filter since it needed to be changed and of course, not much improvement.

Of course I will never do this again due to the havoc it wrecked on my intake air temp sensor(which I had an extra sensor laying around), but it worked on my dsm in the past, and falacious reasoning lead me to try it on my honda.

Anyway it's a 94 civic ex with an ls swap running the ls ecu. I replaced the o2 sensor a couple months ago, so I would tend to think that it is in good shape, but no doubt, I did something wrong when I steam cleaned my motor with rubbing alcohol.

It only bucks in closed loop, and when it does, I floor it and it stabalizes. What do you think? I am leaning more towards an 02 sensor over the fuel pump, because although I hear o2 sensors are not damaged by alcohol, the problem started right after the ghetto de-carb. Lesson learned, but I would like some advice from experienced people. Thanks.
