93 delsol with y7, question on mini me
so i have a 93 del sol that was an auto to manual swap guy i bought it from put in a y7, i want to do a mini me what kind of ecu will i need and or any type of conversion harness. i know i can use either a z6 head or a y8 but im just really confused. i searched alot got some info but wondering if anyone could shed some light. the confusing part is the obd1 car with obd 2 engine

That'd incorrect chief, P28 ECU is programmed for the Z6, unless he is getting it chipped for the Y8, no point.
You need a P2E, or P2P ECU *Whatever your car DOESN'T already have*
and yes, a Y8 head would be ideal, no conversion harness needed, but you will have to add wiring for Vtec *Fairly easy, you can do a search for "Wiring Vtec"

D16Y8 head on a D15B8 Block, the head is decked to boot, Wicked high compression.
