Distributor questions...............
I drive an obd2 97 Civic EX, and I will soon be swapping to a y8 block/z6 head setup. If I use a z6 dizzy with the head, do I still need a conversion harness from obd2-obd1 AND a p28 ecu? I want to make sure I dont buy more parts than I need. Also, will the p28 ECU that i use need to be chipped to change rev limit/vtec if I am using a VAFc?

Re: Distributor questions............... (Rydaddy)
Yes it is true. You have to put the y8 internals into the z6 dizzy, or maybe its vice versa. But thats the idea. And you will not have to get a new ecu or conversion harness. Are you planning on getting new pistons because your gonna lose compression with that head.

Re: Distributor questions............... (BMac86)
Yeah...I was told it would work with the y8 internals in the z6 dizzy, BUT I might as well convert to OBD1 while Im at it. If I didnt swap the internals, I would need the z6 dizzy, a p28 ecu (chipped/not chipped?), and a conversion harness right???
