i have a d16y5 block and a y8 head so i would like to know what ecu would be best? thanks

 

the Y8, P2P i believe.

 

p28 in my opinion, is better for mini me setups, but requires converting to obd1, or the obd2-obd1 ecu conversion plug/adapter

P2N has VTEC control, but you likely have CELs due to the sensors of the Y5 vs Y8 heads. (CEL that prevents VTEC)

since there isn't an ECU for that setup, convert to OBD1, pick up a P28 (or equivalent) and have it tuned.
