I am under the assumption that with a bone stock 96 Integra LS 5-speed B18B, in order to convert to OBD1, I will need only the following:

-OBD2a to OBD1 ecu jumper harness
-OBD1 non-vtec distributor

Am I missing something? I know I may have to alternate some of the ecu pinouts to accommodate the use of other ecu's, but this will be or should be covered in the instruction manual provided with a jumper harness from a company such as Rywire.

I have very limited amounts of time here. I mean, I know just about everything there is to know about DA integra's, but I know almost nothing about DC integra's. I've been researching since noon time yesterday about the OBD1 swap, but still can't put a definite answer on the drawing board.

Just use your stock 92-93 engine harness on the OBD2 B18, if you hadn't planned on it already.

 

You need the 94-95 fuel injectors(4x), 94-95 alternator, leave the distutor alone and use Distributor Jumper Harness (get it from password jdm), use a P75 Obd1 ecu and hope that you'll still have the accelerator cable from the 96 LS motor you'll need that too. Everything else will be a plug and play.

What if I just bought the 96 spec GSR engine/trans/ecu instead of the OBD1 GSR engine/trans/ecu? Then all I would need is a subharness from Rywire, right?

Im using a 98 GSR in my 92 civic. Using all OBD2 parts..Harness,Distributor,Alternator,Fuel injectors,everything obd2 Just using an OBD1 ecu!

 

all you have to do is use the LS harness and plug it in to your civic and get an OBD1 LS ecu
