Default H22/F20B conversions......

Hello, was wondering if anyone of you did this conversion to your accords.

I have a 95 Lx and was wondering how much it would cost to do this swap. I've seen the F20B for cheaper than the H22A, and might go that route. Let me know how much each would cost, and if there is any difficulties in each.... Pro's and Con's .

Thanks

Find me a comparison thread of F20B vs H22A in a 5th gen chasis...do it...do it now!

Before you post on other people's threads, and make a mockery of yourself, know what you're talking about.....is there even a thread comparison between the two?

God, I hate idiots who come into your thread and act like other idiots in this place..."SEARCH" Is that the only thing your brain can comprehend, because I think I asked a more complex question than that, and if the search button could have answered the question for me, don't you think I would've asked that instead of using an idiot to direct me to such a conclusion?

Get lost idiot, not worth my time...

i partly agree with sig, too many people say search, search is only good if the links are still hot and if someone could spell when they posted what you're looking for. what makes the honda community great is the willingness to help one another overcome problems and not simply say, its been done just look, tell someone twice help them out. The F20 is obd2b and that will be going into a obd1 chassis with your 95. I wouldn't recomend this since the h22 is a direct fit and the wiring will all hookup. You'll have to add a few wires to bridge the difference but its alot easier than doing the f20. plus the h22 is way cheaper, make sure you're shopping around, you can get a h22 delivered for around 2k. a f20 would cost about 500 more plus all the extra stuff you'll have to do to make it work in your chassis.
thats my two cents.
anyone know where i can find the jdm shop manual for a 6th gen accord???

Partly true... search is also only as good as the person trying to use it. Common sense would tell you to use variations of a word or engine code. When you search H22 you get different results than searching H22A. So you have to run multiple searches most of the time.

I mean, take for example this thread... because the OP put "H22/F20B" instead of "H22 / F22B" or "H22 or F20B", when someone searches for F20B this thread wont show up? A simple push of the space bar a comple extra times would have made this thread more search friendly.

Also, a thread does not have to be "hot" for it to pop up, thats what the archives are for. You can search and find a thread that hasn't been posted to in 4+ years.

wow, pretty full of yourself aren't you?

Why should someone be willing to help you if you aren't willing to do some leg work and help yourself first?

Now why don't you click on the "1992-2002 Accord FAQ and find the link on how to use the search feature cause you obviously need some help with that cause OMG!!, look what I found...

... just from using the SEARCH. Aren't I nice

Believe me when I say that is just a few of the threads out there. I had 4 pages of results that came back from just one of my searches.

Not all of them are in reference to the 94-97 Accord but some are and from my understanding the swap is relatively similar to the H22 anyway so your question more boils down to the difference in the motors themselves.

Now if you want more info specifically about the F20B into the 94-97 then search for it, I know I saw some of those too. Then you can compare between the H22A into the 94-97 swap threads and the F20B swap threads. You don't always need to be looking for a thread with everything in it, sometimes it takes comparing multiple threads with each other.

Next time be more polite
