Default H22A vs. B18C5...only if you have done both swaps...

I have been looking through posts for several days trying to get a good comparision between the B18C5 and the H22A, but most of the information I have found has been of very little help. I have a 95 Civic HB and my dad is a mechanic so I have little to worry about as far as the installation goes, but over all, is the H22A worth the trouble, and is it that much better than the B18C5?

to answer your question. yes.

displacement with same technology is a given. and vtec is more of a kick in the *** than the c5, plus the fact that the h22 is torquey (if that's even a word) as a ****.

nuff said.

Whoever said it was 'better' than the C5?

It all boils down to preference

with either engine, you're looking at well over 4K in cost.

Both will get you 13's, if not 12's.

Both are great engines, and make great power.

It's a win win situation....you can't lose.
