H22A or F20B?
I am new to the tuner scene and still learning. What beter place to get help then here. I am going to start my 91 Accord off right with a motor swap. What would be a better engine, the H22A or the F20B? Or are there any K series engines that would fit. I would really like to have the six speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
the h22a is a far more common swap..therefore you'll have a large access to info and parts, etc... i beleive they have about the same hp rating dont then? anyway, the f20b is a somewhat rare swap. being as your new to this, the h22 would probably be, by far, the best solution. do a lot of research
if i remember correctly, the f20b is not very big in the tq department and that is very necessary in a heavy car like an accord. h22 is probably gonna be your best choice for a swap
This is true....
The parts for the F20B aren't as common as the H22A, and there is less torque in the F20B. Allthought both are good swaps in my opinion. I have heard the pros and cons of both. I bet you could get the F20B to rev out alot higher than the H22A.
