Default Can someone tell me if this is worth getting and if it will work?!?!

OEM 99 TEG GSR Shifter Linkage, with Skunk2 Dual Bend Short Shifter, Skunk2 Shifter ****, and Energy Shifter Linkage Urathane Bushing kit. Very Great feeling Shifter. $180 For whole set up.

Will that set up work on my 98 gsr? I want to get it becuase my gear changing doesnt feel as smooth as my friends sir. HE said it could possible be the bushings. If this is true, is this worth getting and will it directly go into my 98 gsr? If thats not my problem then can someone tell me why my gears dont feel smooth going into?

well, if you want to make it feel smooth like your friends, all you have to do is replace the existing bushings to new oem polyurenthane ones. Having a short shifter isnt that smooth either, the shifting is rough from gear to gear. Nothing really be more smooth than oem.

agreed, short shifters do nothing(except break) all you need is bushings, either password nuespeed or even oem will work fine. but if you really want a short shifter its b&m or bust IMO.

Don't get password bushings. It's $40 for them when you can get the ES ones for $13 and its the same thing except password has there logo like anyone is going to see it anyways.
