LS VTEC Computer problem
hey guys, this may seem like a silly question, but im kinda stuck. I drive a 98 LS automatic integra. I wanted to go LS vtec, so I saved up the cash and went at it, 3 months laster im finally here, im running a b-16 a2 JDM stamped head full ferrea internals and im ready to go. Sadly im stuck automatic for the time being.. Everything is bolted up and put together, all im down to now is my wiring harness, im trying to figure out the last stage on how im going to manually wire the extra wires to the cylanoid. But thats not even my biggest problem, im trying to use my old ECU, which wont work, and then I tried a 5 speed GSR and that wont even crank the thing up.. it just floods it. So my final question is, what type of ecu do I need to run this thing, i've basically narowed it down , it needs to be automatic/vtec/and for my b16. Im going crazy over this and I need somones elses opinion
any help will be greatly appreciated!

I would guess if you did everything right that the ls auto ecu should at least start the car, if not run it as well. To be sure you could purchase/have an ecu chipped that has the proper basemap for your application. Good luck!!!
yeah, thats the thing..the ecu starts the car, but it barely hold the idle, the cams are really agressive, there the stock b16 jdm stamped cams but they hit hard. it chugs the idle, but soon as you give it gas, it dies out. any ideas?
Try getting a chipped ecu with a basemap for your application. Also is your timing correct? If you flip the map sensor plug and the TPS plug the car may do this as well. Just throwing out ideas...there are many reasons your car could be doing this.
