Ive got an 96 ek with a 2000 b16 motor.....Im wanting to remove the power steering...according to some in order to do so there is a bracket you need to purchase to support the steering rack...is this true and if so whats the part called? thanks

 

By "remove", do you mean swapping in a manual rack, or just removing the PS system from your existing rack?

 

Removing the ps from the exsiting rack.

 

Then no, you don't need any bracket. Who told you that?

Naw, there's def. no bracket there. Tell your honda mechanic to get a new job :-P.

I think it's him (padawan) actually that sells kids to help you loop it - you have to loop the fluid lines if you remove the PS - I'm sure padawan could tell you more.
