Default swap opinions for my 95 teg

im stuck between doing a b20/vtec with my gsr head or buying an h22 and doing h2b, i have the money for both but wat do u thnk would be the best daily driven

becasue the valves are bent and i figured while the heads off for b20/vtec i can fix all that then put it on another block to get some more tourqe, and i cant really afford boost at the moment

Neither. If you want something reliable, build up your head since your valves are beant. New cams, valvetrain, port and polish, intake manifold, etc. Then next, work on your block. Get some oversized JDM ITR pistons along with ARP rod bolts and a micropolished LS crank

keep your gsr block and build it. Build the head with full valvetrain/cams.

You don't have the money to boost your GS-R, but you have the money to do a h2b?

Niether one of the engines listed would be as reliable as your GS-R

a proper b20 build can be very reliable actually. just dont boost it.
