maintenance required light question
so awhile back my ac belt snapped and i never got around to replacing it, and every
time i start my car the maintenance required light flashes several times then goes away.
so last night i put my winter tires on my car, and this morning it was a constant, no
flashing and remains on (only reason i mention the changing of the tires is it was the last thing i did to the car before the light remained constant). the car is not acting differently or sounding differently. no other belts or anything noticeable like that have failed. the reason for the light remaining constant puzzles me. any insight would be appretiated.
thankyou.

but it's not just for your oil
it's for honda's suggested scheduled maintenance thing....when it was implemented the intention was to have the dealer ONLY be the one to turn it off after service was complete (pretty dumb on Honda to think the vehicle owners wouldn't turn it off themselves)

stick your head under the driver side dash. Attached onto the plastic dash cover, you'll see a black box with a blue button. Hold it down for a few seconds and you're done.
