hi guys well the maitenence light flashes for about 15 seconds when i start the car blinkin on and off and then after that it stops. my first question is what does it have to do with the car, and 2nd if it is serious. thanks in advance

 

It just means its been 7,500 miles since that light was last reset. Its basically, just to tell you to get an oil change. There's a button under the dash, you hold it down while starting the car to reset the light.

yes, you could, but if its annoying, just turn it off.
