OBD1 LIMP MODE QUESTION
ok i have a 89 crx with a b16 converted to obd1 and it seems to be in limp mode.
when it is in limp mode what the highest it will rev?
im thowing a code for the crank angle sensor and coolant temp sensor i replaced the coolant sensor and it is still throwing the code even after i reset the ecu? if there is a CEL will it always be in limp mode??
will the 2 codes im throwing cause it not to rev?

You've already answered your own question.
You're throwing codes, so you're in limp mode. Work on the wiring for the coolant temp sensor and try to fix the CAS code.

the crank sensor code 4 will definitely put it into limp mode and it will probably rev to only about 3500-4000 - sounds like you need a new distributor or you have something wrong in the distributor wiring - the coolant temp sensor that gives code 6 is on the end of the head with 2-wire connector, red/white and green/white wires
check the wiring real well, a lot of the TW connectors have broken wires - for the code 4, do you have an aftermarket distributor? some OBD1 aftermarket distributors have the orange and white wires in the wrong locations in the connector - try swapping the orange and white on the engine harness
