Do you have a vtec controller? And is it set too low?

well i fixed the problem.

the ground wire on the vtec solenoid was not hooked up to anything, so i hooked it up to a clean ground.

now my car runs really good, no more check engin light, no more bogging, no more 500rpm idle, and now i got my vtec back lol

Have you checked your distributor timing?

Well I have it advanced but never had this problem. I do have a minor exhaust leak cuz I do notice that when Im under 3k rpms I hear the exhaust leak but ones im at 3k rpms I dont hear it anymore. Kinda weird. Oh my hatch started over heating and thats cuz my Rad is all messed up and old (leaks). So Imma fix that first.
Sorry to jack your thread.
