Anyone else here got precision injectors that dont fit d-series manifold? The injectors are marked with 0370. The metal tip thats going into the manifold is measuring 12mm, and the manifold about 11.3mm. Thinking about just taking off the manifold an drilling up the holes to about 12.5mm. Has anyone else tried this?

 

Find some thinner o-rings or just use some lubrication and more muscle .

 

The <U>metal</U> tip on the injector is 12 mm, and the hole in the manifold is 11.3. Dont think muscles will do it

Anyway, I took off the manifold and machined them up to 13mm. Should do the trick

 

What year/model dseries ?

 

The tip on precision 440cc and 310cc injectors is a little larger then normal.
I have yet to see any fitment issues.

 

Its a 94 D16Z9 (similar to D16Z6), engine is from Germany. Maybe some EDM issue, I dont know. There was no way they would fit before I modified the manifold.

 

my buddy had that problem on a JRSC manifold (smaller hole than his stock ITR manifold)..

those injectors have a BIG tip.
