You throwing any CEL's? You might need an injection service, dude. It shouldn't be running super rich with just a couple of bolt-ons.

i replaced the o2 sensor about 3 months ago, before the cat, with a bosch one...think it could be the problem? or should i try a fuel pressure regulator w/ a gauge?

I think I just bought the ECU from you on e-bay. Thanks. I am having the same problem with my 2001 GSR. It fouls the plugs and will barely run when it is cold. It is running so rich that the plugs will foul and I have to take them out and clean them for it to run again. I checked the MAP, ECT, IAT, O2 sensors. I am going to have the ECU programmed and see if that fixes it. My fuel pressure is perfect and I tested the injectors and they are all firing with a good spray pattern.

Any thoughts?

i don't believe it would be the ecu, but i can see it being the o2 sensor in ur case, but like i said i just replaced mine...anyone know of a write-up that refers to this problem for us 2 with it???

test your coolant temp sensor. i see them cause alot of rich conditions and foul plugs out.

^^^^^ beat me to it, but yeah, my buddy swapped motors between his DA's one coolant temp sensor was slow, and up til that point, I have only seen turbo hondas run that rich at idle, lol

installed fuel pressure gauge last night and when idling it is at 32 psi=fine...

could the fuel pressure regulator be bad even if the pressure is fine??
