A wonderful "what is this noise" thread. and need clutch suggestions.
Been a while since i've been on here. Anyway down to business. I have a clicking noise coming from where I believe to be my passenger side front tire. It is a single click that happens whenever i accelerate (put in gear to get moving), accelerate in a high rpm (more torque on whatever it is), or let the car decelerate while in gear. Also does it in reverse. It does not do it when I turn the wheel and it also does it over speed bumps or any decent size bump in the road. Its a 2000 itr with not even 40kmiles which also has me pissed that there is a problem.
I recently had it to the dealer and they checked cv joints, my exhaust, shocks/struts suspension crap and didn't find anything. I had the stock airbox still in the wheel well that wasn't attached to intake and said that was the noise, removed it. - ops check good. *******. So basically I ended up with a 300 dollar oil change. First time the car has been to the dealer and probably the last. Motor mounts maybe? /shrug
I also need a new clutch very soon and need some suggestions for one that will hold a little more power and take some more abuse, perhaps <300hp. Thinking about putting in a turdblow in the summertime.
I hate noises and what causes them; give a brother a hand.

It is either a tie rod or your balljoint (upper and/or lower). The reason why it doesnt do it when you are spinning the wheel because there is no load OR torque applied to the wheel.
