problem: oil on spark plugs
I recently had too much oil in my car. I have been checking the spark plugs and when the motor is still warm, there is oil on the spark plugs. When the motor is cold, it is easier to start, but after it gets warm, it doesn't seem to want to start. I have to pump the gas to even get it to want to turn over and even that can take a minute or so. I'm worried that my piston rings might be bad and they are letting oil get past into the combustion chamber, but i can't be certain yet. I am going to do a compression check in the next couple of days.
Someone else thought my head might be cracked, but after I do get it turned over, it runs perfectly smooth as if there is no problem at all. In normal driving it is smooth and in boost it is smooth. But my gas mileage has gone to crap.
I can not work until this is fixed so I need all the input I can get. I just built my motor 4000 miles ago and everything in the block is brand new except the sleeves.
Thanks

That would probably make sense because it is getting on the part of the plug where it sparks, not where it meets the plug wire.
thanks

im not exactly sure. Probably a quart to 1.5 quarts too much. It was an honest mistake. Thats what I get for working on my car when Im in a hurry.

Not what I wanted to hear. I just finished putting the motor together 4000 miles ago. haha

I just had a buddy of mine tell me he thinks for sure that it is only my turbo. He said by my turbo seals blowing out it will send oil through my piping and my intercooler and into my intake manifold.
Does this sound likely to anyone else? He said the same thing happened on his dsm but i just dont see how it would soak my spark plugs in the combustion chamber. Im iffy on the whole thing because it doesn't smoke white unless it has a real hard start up.
I think it is my gaskets also but I planned on replacing my turbo set up anyway so even if my turbo is bad, its not that big of a deal.
Thanks for everyones help and courtesy

pull plug and wire and let it rain oil
haha you could use a suction gun or pull the plug and let it drain into the cylinder it will burn up sooner or lata
