Built LS/VTEC would be nice. Just nowhere near cheap.

Sounds like a plan. How much is the head, and an oiling system? Is that a complete swap for 650 including harness, ecu, axles, tranny, mounts, exhaust possibly?

Then you get to choose from many more turbo combinations.

Usually, the answers to your question depends on your budget/power goals.

I would just turbo the ls and forget about the vtec head. It'll be much easier for you and your wallet.

If you're not looking for huge power, this is the way to go.

YEA.. STAY ls.. buy arps and an inlinepro 2mm headgasket and boost it..

the thing about engines from junk yards.... they didnt get to a junk yard being good ya know.. u can find b18bs all over for no more then 850 with low milage and ready to go.

i have ob1 ls complete motor, tranny, wire harness, throttle body im lettin it go for $450 it came out of a running car! If i was goin ls vtec in my car i would get a b20 block wit a b16 head to acheive a longer stroke and a lil bit more torque rather than a b18, but dats just my 2 cents..take it easy
