Tell him to just save his money for an auto to manual swap or buy a Manual Prelude.
Auto 4cyls will just never be fast or quick....

What's a shift kit? Tell "your friend" to get a manual swap or sell his car and buy a base Prelude.

Old school Muscle Car thing for autos....less hang time between gears. I have to guess its not exactly ideal for auto trans longevity.

Older cars would play with the valve body to get it to shift faster. Some even went with a manual valve body.

If you want to pour some $$ into that auto, level10 does auto trans builds.

i'm surprised they are still in business... its a bit off topic, but anyone know what happened with the class action law suit with the auto supra tt guys?? level10 was worthless when they put down 400hp.. and they said level10 guaranteed 500hp.

He's not having some crazy thoughts of modding an auto is he? with i/h/e/p my friends SS Prelude was still running high 15's on a great night.
SS+4cyl just isn't a good combo.....now team that SS up with the 3.2 V6 and we're talking!

You're drag racing on a 14" 195mm tire?
