ok i've made the dumb decision to turbo my car.. so everything is done and its running and ready to be tuned, but i have one problem. I swapped manifolds for an automatic Y8 because I have a 97 civic cx which uses the 3 wire iacv just like the automatic Y8 manifold but then i hooked up my conversion harness to use an obd1 ecu and it uses a two wire iacv so i need to know if i can get the pinouts for the obd1 iacv wires and wire those two wires into my 3 wire iacv and it work without using the third wire of the iacv on my automatic Y8 intake manifold. any help is greatly appreciated and pictures would be fantastic because im somewhat slow and my friends definitely are. thanks

im not exactrly sure, i know ive searched this many of times, cuz i had the 3wire to 2 wire problem with my iacv beore, search 2 wire iacv

 

ive search honda-tech, google, yahoo, etc.. any info is greatly appreciated. i know im gonna have to do the pinouts and wire it in but i need to get a diagram of the pinouts so i can locate the two wires for the iacv and then i need to know if i can still use the 3 wire sensor and just connect two of the three wires to it and if so to which of the 3 do they connect to?? thanks again guys... praying i dont have to swap manifolds AGAIN

 

back again. ive bought a manual ex manifold, throttle body, and 2 wire IACV. I will be running a conversion harness with a chipped p28. do i need to do the a12 - a14 wire swap or will it be taken care of with the conversion harness? In other words can i bolt the manifold, throttle body, and IACV on and then disregard the orange wire and wire in the 2 remaining wires to the two wire IACV? thanks again for any help.

You said you found your answer??? i have a 98 civic dx and i swapped a d15b into it. I have the same problem, which wire out of the three wires do i eliminate? and any other swap info would help lots.
