I generally never post my stuff, but I finally had someone want a mani out of 316. Not much different overall to be honest. I backpurged the entire mani, but I admit I still have to work on that 100+% penetration consistency (I have another thread about it).

Person getting this mani is running a GT28 with that T25 flange and I guess the person had trouble finding someone to make one. The collector fit to the T25 is a little tough so I assume that's why. It seems the bolt holes for the flange are tight to the collector and collector to that small hole required some jig workage.

I figured I'd give it a shot for the guy though....I think it came out ok. The T25 flange is from the guy I made it for. He made it on a plasma table and wanted me to use it.

I'm not as good as some of you guys on here, but I do what I can...shakin from the athsma meds and all .

Whats the tool being used for the 4 egt ports? 4 channel dedicated datalogger? or an ems with enough inputs to handle it?

Hey, thanks for the comments guys....I appreciate it.

Splitime....Best I recall is he knows someone closely connected to the development of ECtune, so I'd assume that's the management system he's using. He said he wanted to didn't want to hold back on this project and really do everything as good as possible. I actually am shipping the mani off to HP Coating today, and it is getting their black thermal barrier coating.

RTernie.....I don't know about TOP notch...lol. What I lack in welding I try to make up for with porting and making everything flow as well as possible. With the welds I have to stop and start alot, which is a downfall. My meds give me alot of, unnoticeable in life, but very noticeable when your TIG welding shakes. I have to actually hold my breath when I weld to suppress some of the shaking like I'm some Vietnam sniper...lol. I end up having to make about 6-8 stops on each joint.

Last year I was on different meds and it was alot better. I could do a whole joint in 4 stops, but not anymore. I try to do the best that I can though and make quality stuff....some people just get wrapped up in the perfect bead look (thanks full race), which I'll probably never be able to pump out unless I am healed miraculously.

Thanks though for the comment, I appreciate it alot.

Fun, that hints at individual cylinder trims. I wonder if they figured a way to datalog all four through the ecu too.

I love new stuff.

yeah, I inquired about becoming a "dealer" or basically a person able to tune multiple cars. They wanted a breakdown of what I've done, references, basically some kind of tuning resume. Seems if I wanted to purchase the rights to distribute ECtune I should be granted that right in the interest of expanding the products usage. I'd love to leave CROME Pro....it gets the job done, but it is lacking for sure.

The individual runner sampeling is most likely for EGT and if you have a single channel, you could always block off the other ports and datalog one port at a time.

Yeah, I mean, if I re-arc on the end of the bead where I stopped it looks like a continued run....the HAZ just gives the restart away.

Yeah, I generally don't all out polish them in case anyone is wondering. Due to the fact that generally there is going to be a carbon layer developed in a short time, and the fact that there is a pretty static boundary layer anyway I just leave a 120grit finish then scotchbrite it really quick. It actually is quite smooth to the touch versus how it appears.

As far as athsma meds go, my girlfriend works at a local hospital and the resp. techs hijack meds for me...lol. I am on Advair and Combivent now. It has my athsma SERIOUSLY under control....it's like I don't even have athsma anymore mostly. Only issue is the shaking....

I've taken Ventolin for YEARS and my tolerance to albuterol was pretty good, but for some reason the switch to Combivent had some crazy impact....go figure.

I couldn't stay on Clen for more than 2 weeks before the shaking got too severe for me. But after taking two weeks off with some benedryl, getting back on again really fires up the metabolism.

Fully welded on the inside....so no seams.... Might be the lighting if your seeing something that looks like one. My camera pics up the collector funny for some reason...it looks HIGHLY textured, but in person it's not even slightly textured looking. The camera somehow picked up the reflective light funny or something.

I think the only visible variation is the color of the mild steel versus the stainless. The mild steel has a darker shade to it.

Hey Weirtech...tell your wife to stop sending me all that Canadian Pharmacy Spam-sh*t
