seems pretty obvious to me
you either buy stiffer springs
put your shocks on a higher setting
or stop carrying chubby girls around in sets of 2's.

yeah, but i think 205 is a little wide for 17's on a honda.
i'm guessing most people with 17's might run something more narrow

its simple dude...when you make turns weight shifts to the opposite side of the car...so if you rock fat bitches in the back (or just anyone in general) and turn like you're rally racing, its going to make the tires rub.

There isn't anything narrower to run on 17's...205/40 is about the smallest you can get! The problem is, it's still 1" larger in diameter than stock so that's part of your problem, plus the 2" drop. Also it's not simply the overall width of the tire but the fact that with very low profiles the tire is kind of square rather than bulbous...in other words if you had a 205/60 on a 15" wheel the tire would be less likely to rub because the fattest part of the tire would be in the middle of the sidewall not at the tread like with the 40-profile. You know what I mean?

You sure it's not the wheel bearing?

I don't care how you split it, it's not going to have ONE tire rubbing ALWAYS.

ok one more time.
from the top.

My by meself in the car.
left hand turns above 5 miles per hour
rear passanger wheel makes horrid noises.

i rolled the front passanger fender(which was making noise.)
and i attemted to roll the rear but i dont know how good a job i did scince the bat i used started falling apart,

when making right hand turns at any speed there is no noise.

i also hear noise when going over potholes at speed coming from the rear passanger side,

Possible worn shock on one side. That's the only conclusion I'd jump to immediately, given your "one-sided" situation. I'm lowered modestly on 205/40/16's and, though it is on both sides, I still get a bit of squeek on spirited turns. How old are your shocks/springs?

why dont u just drive a couple miles then come back and pull the tire and see where inside the well its rubbing?? then go from there on wether its even rubbing or if it could be a wheel bearing

and if it is rubbing in the fender well, and your positive your car is sitting level, then just eliminate the spot in the fender well thats causing the problem and forget about it

.....well you should check to see if it's really the wheel bearing, but it seems obvious to me that you may have one blown shock.
