it stop have a bad idle, and now goes from 1000-2100 rpm 5 times then just kills itself.
once again, no EGR, no Cold idle start. most Vaccum lines not installed that connect to the intake manifold.
any ideas?

no. if your car is obd2 its on the top of the throttlebody. if its obd1 its on the firewall rite behind the throttlebody. it seems like u have a vacume leek. use carb cleaner and spray around the im gaskets when the idle changes u found a leak.

why use carb cleaner to test for air leaks? can't you just use good ole water and not have to worry about carb cleaner eating out gaskets and other non-corrosion-resistant materials??
or is water worse?
