Default Fluctuating idle

Ok i switched out the IACV already with 2 different ones. Nothing violent but still fluctuates from 1200-1500, also it doesn't do it all the time. One thing i noticed though is if its doing it and i stick my finger on the small hole in the TB it'll stop and idle becomes normal. what's the problem. All nipples are eithier connected to something or plugged up. Also no FITV, running itr throttle body/intake manifold.

If you plugged that hole with your finger, the engine should have died. If it stayed running, you probably have a vacuum leak somewhere.

Check to see if anyone messed around with the idle screw. Ive seen many cars come into the shop with the idle screw backed out by the user trying to fix their idle problem, when it was something else like IACV or FITV, etc.

So if the idle screw is all the way in, will it expletive something up?

if its all the way in back it out 1 1/2 turns. it won't hurt anything anyway. but sounds like you have a vacum leak somewhere
