i have a 95 h22a engine in a 95 civic ex chasis. the car stopped dead in the middle of the street. getting fuel and spark. changed the timing belt, timing belt tensioner and i'm still having the same problem. when i turn the key it tries to turn over and about every fourth time the car backfires. Any suggestions? Also i have a chipped integra ecu. could the ecu be bad?

 

sounds like you installed the timing belt wrong. check to make sure everything is lined up correctly.

normally I would say that you have an issue with your distributor, but you say you have spark.

next time, use a more descriptive title
