turns out my f*cking redneck neighbor blew my f*cking turbo right off the bat. i cant believe almost 2 months of hard work getting stoked for the 1st start up and this stupid guy blows it in a matter of seconds. like honestly as soon as i turn the key and it starts, he comes over and just pins the throttle and i keep shouting for him to stop but eh doesnt. well the result of his stupid action blew a seal or something in my turboa dn now i have to get it checked out. like seriously who the hell just walks up and over to someone elses project and just starts messin with sh*t? and its not like i could just turn to the guy and slug him while he was doing this cuz 1st of all hes about 3 times my size and probly 6 times my strenght and ive known him for a while. uuuuggghhhh its just so frustrating, now i have to find a place that rebuilds turbos, do any of you guys know a good place?

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but you just played around with it without tuning it? And if it was tuned, what the hell were you thinking it can do? Keep the redline a bit lower on a higher power app so **** like this doesn't happen.

Obviously your turbo didn't have proper lubrication or torquing or this wouldn't have happened.

You gotta regulate that stuff man. If this happened just by him pinning it to the governor, you gotta ask yourself how fast it woulda happend NOT at idle if you were racing or at a drag strip or something when the engine actually had the load of the car on it.

Basically said:
That engine/turbo is a testimony to what YOU built...and the turbo blew out without even a load on the engine...

And no, I'm not starting an arugment here so you can flame me all I want, but I'm right, regardless of how you look at it:

A) If you tuned it right, you wouldn't have a problem - a turbo shouldn't crap out by being revved WITHOUT a load on it.
B) if it wasn't tuned, you shouldn't have been messing with it.

No, I'm not justifying what he did in the least, keep his xbox and don't give it back until he pays.

Though like I said before, that engine since you did it yourself is a testimony to your build quality.

Next time, if someone, or something makes your throttle peg like that, just turn off the key, and fix it. Hopefully it won't be while your driving tho!
