hey guys iv got a built b18c with a turbo and had it tuned at 18 psi.iv been driving it for a while now with no problems and now all of the sudden its only pushing 15 psi . iv already done a leak down test on the whole turbo system and couldnt find any leaks i have a turboxs b.c. btw any help would be grreat
not that i know of do you think i should buy another one? is there anything else that may cause this?
its really weird, it went from what i had it set at (18 psi) then to 15psi, then 10 psi now its back to 15 wtf

sounds like the boost controller is acting up....

iv done another leak down and everything from the turbo to the intake mani. gasket is air tight. is it a common problem for the turboxs b.c. to go after a while
i cant think of a reason why all the sudden the boost is 3 psi lower then i had it set at any reason why i shoulnt turnit up? what else should i look for?

Yes. Also what is your wastegate spring rated at?

One side of the boost controller goes to the wastegate, the other side to the turbo housing OR intake manifold. You should really read up on how a boost controller works - you simply replace it with a coupler for the 2 lines it attaches to, and you are back to the WG's 10psi spring. If it can't hold 10psi, its most likely not your turboxs boost controller.
