Hi ! My aem ems is set at 15 psi on a GM boost solenoid...

But now ( for a few weeks ) my boost goes to 15 psi and then drop to 13 psi ????

I had a high flow 3 inch catalyser... but I dont remember if this trouble occur before ??

Is it possible that my rings are so bad that the boost goes by there ?? I know that I have to change them... I done a leak down test...

OHHH and when it is cold outside the boost reach 17 psi and then drop to 15 ??? WHY !!! WHY !!!

did you checked your piping for air leak

 

yes and there is no leak... I will look more in a few week I have to get the engine out off the car ... but I dont think that the problem is that ...

 

is the boost dropping off at the upper end? if so it might just be the turbo running out of breath. if it's hot enough the boost charge will be slightly less too.

 

no the boost was used to stay at 15 this is not the problem....
