it will work, but w/o vtec and redline at 7k. it will run the car, but might be running a little crappy though.

i ran my built b18c1 on my old ls ecu for the first 3k miles. It ran fine just redlined at 7000, and no vtec. i would just drive it normal and if you feel you have to get on it check your plugs to make sure your not going lean.

It will run but you should get the right ECU as soon as you can

it will start without the knock sensor hooked up you just wont have vtec. oh and yes you can run it on a Non-vtec ecu.

you can disable the knock sensor with a chipped ecu

Your ECU does have the knock sensor disabled, like I said before, it won't run without it.

ls ecu will run it. you don't need knock sensor if you are chipped if not then you do. i thought on gsr motors the primary vtec kicks in at like 4500 and the secondary butterfly opens at like 5600 or something . i'm not sure about the vtec but the knock sensor i know for sure.

well heres the deal. i wired vtec up, but no knock sensor bc i couldnt find where the third wire runs for the knock sensor. i think its for 5 volts, but i dont know where to tap into. it runs with no knock sensor and i can take it up to 8k fine. i dont have butterflies, bc i swapped on a blox im. also, i cant really hear vtec at all, but i think thats normal with the c1.
