Will a ecu off a b16(obd1) work on a d15b(obd1)? as long as i dont rev it past 7k?

yes. You'll have a check engine light for VTEC, and Knock sensor. Your car will also run rich. I suggest not doing it.

the P30 will throw Knock CEL.
I'm guessing you have a JDM d15b which is going to lack the VTEC oil pressure switch (jumper ECU line to VTEC solinoid control to bypass)
Other than that, it will run rich and the ignition maps will be wacked... but it will run. Better to use a P28 or even a P06.
