what del sol civics have the b16a motor? all help is greatly appreciated

 

Del Sol VTEC

 

so every del sol vtec has the b16, i thought a few had the D motor vtecs

There's a model of Del Sol called the "Del Sol VTEC". The Del Sol Si also has a VTEC motor - the d16z6 - but it's not a "Del Sol VTEC".

You could have just searched google for an answer to this mind-blowing question, by the way

to add on to this thread, the b16 in the del so is stamped b16a3

pretty dope if you can swap one of those into your eg, i know you can bar jdm motors, but it seems like i'd be easier to bar the usdm b16a3 stright from a del so vtec

 

there are 3 models of del sol, the S which is no vtec the Si which is a single cam vtec and the del sol vtec which is dohc b16 and the 1994-1995 is a b16a3 and the 1996-1997 is a b16a2. i have the 1997 and people keep thinking i have the wrong motor but all my vin# match up

i thought the b16a3 delsols were siR's? but then again i didnt thing the siR's came to the states either. ive been wonderin this for a while lol.
