Q's about GSR rear sway on civic ex coupe
my friend is getting the comptech rear sway/tie bar combo for his GSR very soon and giving me his stock rear sway bar. i have a few questions regarding the installation on my car (94 civic ex coupe)......
i already have GSR LCA's....so thats all set.....
1) are there any good how-to's for this install anywhere online?
2) do i still need a reinforcemnet kit such as BSQ or Beaks like i would with the ITR bar?
3) i heard somewhere (cant remember where though) that i can use the backing plates from the GSR and just switch them around and mount it to my car (needing to drill a hole as well)......is this true?
4) any other tips, advice, problems you've run into, etc. that you can pass along to me?
i am fairly mechanically inclined as i have done all of the motor, suspension, brake, etc. work on my car myself...just looking for some decent instructions so i dont mess something up or spend too much money (free is looking good right now
). thanks for the help.....

I did this EXACT thing on my '95 Coupe. Use the Integra LCA's. Everything bolts right in perfectly. All you'll need to do is get some extra bolts/nuts. I forget how big, but once youre under there, make a quick trip to the hardware store. You don't need a mounting kit or anything. It was one of the best mods I did for that car. The small rear sway matches up perfectly with some nice springs/shocks. The car is very neutral!!!
well i already have the GSR LCA's installed. so all you did was use the GSR mounting plates in the same position and they fit perfectly? just want to make sure. thanks for the help. anyone lese have any info on this as well? thanks gain.

Yep. Used the same brackets!!! All you have to do is before you dissasemble your car, jack it up, and test fit it in there. YOu'll see how it fits in. It's honestly a bolt on, perfect! No additional comments necessary!
thank you very much then.....thats what i wanted to hear....just needed to make sure. thanks again....i cant wait to get it on there....
