Re: sway bar questions?
thanx guys.
So do I have stock rear LCAs? And if I bought aftermarket LCAs, what size sway bar would I need for the rear?

Re: sway bar questions?
If the car comes stock with aftermarket LCA's then they aren't aftermarket, they are stock.
We don't have enough information to tell you if you have aftermarket LCA's or not... you haven't told us any information... all you did was ask questions.

Your question makes no sense.

I asked if my car comes stock with LCAs. I didnt ask if I have aftermarket ones, cuz I know I dont. Don't ***** on my thread, let someone else answer a question they understand and have an answer to.

All Civics have LCA's, what kind of stupid question is that? If you didn't have rear LCA's the rear end of your car would be on the ground.

Re: sway bar questions?
If you had made your question about LCAs more clear then I would have answered the right question the first time.
"So do I have stock rear LCAs?" sounds like you are asking if your LCAs are stock or aftermarket. It doesn't sound like you are asking if your car comes with LCAs in stock form.

Re: sway bar questions?
ohhhhhhhh lower control arm. ok got it. my acronym translator was turned off.
yes your car has lower controls arms on the rear, its part of the system. as far as i know, LCAs wouldnt affect what sway bar you need. but from a performance aspect there are ALOT better ways to spend your money than aftermarket LCAs. in fact i doubt you in a street car would notice any difference with aluminum(just an example) LCAs vs stock.
coilovers/spring upgrade in general, sway bars, strut bars(questionable), camber kits if its lowered, lighter wheels all give you FAR more results in the handling department. it seems that brake upgrades are WAY overlooked. everyone thinks about making it faster, but what about making it stop faster too? im big about balance, so handling and stopping are just as important to me, if not more important than acceleration IMO.

I'm not planning on doing AutoX or anything. I'm trying to build her for show. So changing out the LCAs and all is just for the look aspect.
Yea, I thought the civic drifting idea was funny, of course I saw this like a week after F&F Tokyo Drift came out.

Re: sway bar questions?
even from a show view, i would be thinking alot more about other MUCH more obvious things first. but i will admit, having some nice aluminum LCAs looks nice. make sure and get forged though, they look alot better. cast ones are usually "dirty" and not as clean looking. but forged will definitely cost more.

Re: sway bar questions?
If you want to bolt up a sway bar then youll need LCAs with the appropriate holes. Also youll want subframe reinforcement to prevent tearout.
